I came for 2 weeks to work at the animal sanctuary and live with a host family in Cusco. It was such an amazing experience, I met so many amazing people and every single member of staff made us all feel so welcome, safe and at home in Peru.
I would 100% recommend Proyecto Peru to anybody wanting to volunteer, travel, and immerse themselves in local culture.

I have had a really good time at Projecto Peru. I have done a week of Spanish Lessons with Mili and she was lovely and she taught us a lot in the short time we had. Me and my friend also stayed at a host family where they took great care of us. Projecto Peru also organises every week which is really nice to connect with the other students.

Absolutely amazing place to volunteer. The staff is top notch, and the experience is affordable. Also take advantage of Spanish classes if you can. Proyecto Peru will always have a place in my heart!

I had an amazing time at Proyecto Peru doing Spanish classes and an internship at the hospital! The staff was amazing, especially my Spanish teacher Paula. She was very patient and taught me a lot. I met many amazing people at Proyecto Peru and always had the best evenings.
The medical internship was way better than in Germany as the nurses and doctors in the hospital had a lot of time and patience to explain a lot. As there was enough staff in the hospital, the atmosphere in the hospital was a lot better than I’m used to from Germany. All in all I’d definitely recommend it!!

I spent an amazing 2 weeks in the sacred valley volunteering at the Media Luna horse ranch! I loved getting to be apart of the community and experience the culture and life here. The mountains and wildlife are just breathtaking & getting to experience that on horseback was awesome. My host family was welcoming and kind. I also had the opportunity to try many types of delicious food and even cook a traditional meal with my volunteer family! The absolute best way to learn is to experience, and Proyecto Peru offers a great opportunity for this. I definitely recommend this program and volunteering in the sacred valley! I’ve had many adventures and made memories that I won’t ever forget 🙂

I had the best time of my life thanks to Proyecto Peru Centre.
I lived in a very welcoming, caring host family, who me the true Peruvian culture and made me feel like I was part of the family.
The Proyecto Peru staff is really nice, you can come to them at any time, and they try their best to make your stay unforgettable. In general, the atmosphere at Proyecto Peru is very friendly and it is easy to make new friends. Every week, there are activities like laser tag, driving quad, game nights or dancing. Proyecto Peru also offers trips to beautiful magical places that I will never forget.
I am really grateful for the time I had in Peru and for the people I met and can only recommend Proyecto Peru.

Volunteering through Proyecto Peru was by far the best decision I made when I decided to go abroad. The team was very outgoing and organized, checking in on me regularly to ensure a very smooth process in Cusco. The Spanish classes were very helpful, as the instructor spoke at a level I understood to further improve my understanding of the language. My home stay was amazing; not only was I guaranteed three fresh meals a day, but I was taken care of by a very selfless and hospitable family. My project was so much fun and run by a very charismatic individual who cares so much about his program and his community. I also made lasting friendships with volunteers from different parts of the world, and I look forward to seeing them again. I could go on, but volunteering through Proyecto Peru was an experience that will not be taken for granted, and I thank the team so much for making my time in Cusco memorable.

The 3 month I spent with Proyecto Peru in Cusco have been one of the best experiences in my life! Living in the house with the other volunteers was so much fun. I met so many people and became very close friends with them.
Volunteering in two different clinics has taught me a lot about the life in Peru and was fun at the same time. My Spanish lessons were extremely helpful thanks to the friendly and fun teachers.

Proyecto Perú has been nothing short of phenomenal. My intentions here were to improve my Spanish for my long term career plans. I spent 4 weeks with the program as a dental intern. I enjoyed the structure that the program provides. I spent a couple hours a day with formal classes, which the professors have expertise in modifying the speed and style of each lesson. I spent most of my time chatting about pertinent cultural and pertinent topics. My dental clinic experience has been great as well. The doctors and team have been awesome and have added to my personal and professional development. My home stay has been inviting and I’m happy that I was able to live and share my life with my family. Overall I recommend this program because of the comprehensive approach and the friendly and professional staff. A big shout out to Enrique, Cherelyn, Drs. Juliana and Jose, y Patricia. I am thankful for such a great experience!
