Founded in 2005, Proyecto Peru has welcomed over 6,000 volunteers and students for a unique and unforgettable experience in historic Cusco. Over many years we have built strong links within the local community, connecting volunteers with nonprofits and other meaningful causes while creating culturally rich programs for people from around the world.

Our mission is to support sustainable development in Peru. We achieve this by connecting enthusiastic volunteers and interns with meaningful local projects that focus on education, social improvement, the environment, wildlife and community support.

If you are interested in volunteering in Cusco, our programs offer a direct way to contribute while exploring one of the most vibrant cities in the Andes. With us you can immerse yourself in authentic daily life in Cusco. Learn Spanish or Quechua at our language school. Take part in more than thirty volunteer projects, from animal care to education and community outreach. Stay in our volunteer house or live with welcoming Peruvian host families to experience the culture first hand.
