Head down the famous Ruta del Sol from Cusco to Puno on the shores of the enormous Lake Titicaca. The lake sits across the border between Peru and Bolivia and is renowned for its beautiful islands, floating islands and vibrant traditions.
Proyecto Peru offers two day tours to the lake, a tour of the Ruta del Sol’s most intersting sites and a no-hassle Bolivia trip taking in Copacabana on the Bolivian side of the lake and the capital La Paz.
When Should I Book?
Weekend trips to Lake Titicaca, Puno and Bolivia can be booked up until 5pm on the preceding Thursday. For weekday trips we recommend booking by midday on the previous day at the latest. As always, booking further in advance can help to avoid dissapointment

Lake Titicaca 2 Days
Board a comfortable bus to visit the lake and one of the floating islands for a relaxing and immersive experience. The tour includes transportation, accommodation, a guided island tour , free time to explore and a day's worth of meals.
We recommend a Friday night departure with return early Monday. A one day (2 night) alternative is available on request.

Cusco - La Paz - Cusco
This adventure features a 4 stop hop-on hop-off bus that allows you to spend as much time as you like in Puno, Copacanaba and La Paz , before returning to Cusco by the same route.
The onboard staff assist with the Peru-Bolivia border crossing, ensures a hassle-free experience.

Ruta Del Sol
Take the Inca Express bus and explore the highlights of the Ruta del Sol including incredible ruins, musuems, viewpoints and historic buildings.
The trip includes luxury bus transportation, 5 stops missed by other tours & a delicious buffett lunch.
This is a one way trip that finishes in Puno. We can assist with booking a return bus journey
