Our homestay option is a great opportunity to experience a Peruvian way of living. Host families love having travelers in their homes and will welcome you with open arms. Aside from being part of a family, you will have privacy in a comfortable, private bedroom. You will also have your own key to the house giving you access to enter and exit your bedroom as you please 24/7.
Homes are equipped with WiFi, hot water, electricity, bed sheets, and a mountain of alpaca blankets to keep you warm at night. You will have a private bedroom with a shared bathroom (towel available), living room, and kitchen. Room share and private apartment options may be available upon request.
Here at Proyecto Peru, we seek contribution to our community in Cusco through a variety of ways. In working with local home stay accommodation, we provide many Peruvian families the opportunity to grow and develop their own business and income. By staying with a host family you are helping us invest in Peru, and contributing to a valuable, immersive, intercultural exchange. You also get to practice your Spanish by living with a family.
This option is ideal for independent students who wish to be able to cook and live with other international students, volunteers, and interns of Proyecto Peru. Staying in an apartment allows you to live with other travelers and share experiences together in a student housing style of living and exchange program.
The house is fully furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen, and has free internet access. You will have your own private bedroom and share the kitchen, living room, and bathroom with your flatmates.

We do everything short of booking your flight for you. When you book an accommodation with us, you will be greeted at the airport by a warm, smiling face; simply look for a sign with your name on it! Don't forget to send us your flight information so we can prepare for your pickup. Always call or email in the case of any flight cancellations or delays.
Need help finding a ride back to the airport at the end of your stay? Just let your host family or the Projects Coordinator know, and we will be happy to call you a taxi! You can expect to pay no more than 10 soles for your trip to the airport.
